COURSE:The 50 mile course is one of the tougher ones on the west coast with over 20,000 ft of altitude change. This course makes an excellent trainer for any of the 100 milers. The 50K course is actually 34.5 miles, and there will be a high probability of snow on the trail for a few of those miles. Total elevation gain for the 50K is 12,000 ft.. Both the 50 miler and the 50K will be raced above 4,700ft and will reach an elevation of 8,925 ft. There will be aid stations every 5 miles, and a cut off time of 13 hours.
