33rd staging of this classic San Diego event! 1-mile out-and-back swim from La Jolla Shores Beach (new swim course for 2017) followed by 10K run (loop course) on flat-packed sand at waterline. Relays allowed. Age-group awards.

Event Start Location
Registration and check-in located at La Jolla Shores Beach. Swimmers will be transported to La Jolla Cove just prior to the swim start.

Course Description
Swim is a 1-mile ocean swim from La Jolla Cove to La Jolla Shores. Run is a 10K (on a 1-mile loop course) on the flat-packed sand along waterline.

Awards
Age-group awards plus awards for the top relays.

Packet Pickup / Expo
Pre-registration closes May 14. Race packets will be mailed to athletes. Day-of-race registration opens at 6:00 a.m. at La Jolla Shores Beach. No registration at La Jolla Cove.

Post Race Activities
Refreshments provided by Jyoti-Bihanga Vegetarian Restaurant.

Parking
There is ample parking at that hour in the La Jolla Shores parking lot and/or along the local streets.
