This is the 3rd year for the df Ranch Triathlon. Our race will be held Sunday, June 5, 2010 at 8:30am. The event will be a Champion Chip timed event consisting of a 500 meter swim in Lake Sweetwater, a 14 mile bike (rolling hills course) on Farm-to-Market 2035 and a 3.1 mile run. Pertinent information, prior to the week of the event, will be sent out via email. The race is limited to 225 participants and is a USA Triathlon sanctioned event.

Course Description
500 meter swim in Lake Sweetwater, a 14 mile bike (rolling hills course) on Farm-to-Market 2035 and a 3.1 mile run.

Awards
The overall male and female winners will receive a prize. All participating athletes will receive a race t-shirt, all finishers will potentially receive a finishers gift.

Packet Pickup / Expo
There will be race day, morning, packet pickup prior to the opening of transition.

Post Race Activities
Awards, Music, & Post Race Nutrition (Fruit, Pizza, & Bottled Water) upon completion of Race.

Directions
Traveling from Amarillo/Lubbock:
# Take I-27 South exit 1B. Enter US84 South toward Post,TX.
# Follow US84 all the way to I-20.
# Take I-20 East toward Abilene and Dallas. Exit 249.
# Turn right at FM 1856, the first stop sign. When the road Ys take the left fork you will now be on FM 2035.
# Lake Sweetwater will be at the top of the next hill. Approximately 4.5 miles from the interstate.

Traveling from Dallas/Fort Worth:
# Take I-20 west to exit 249.
# Turn left at FM 1856, the first stop sign.
# When the road Ys take the left fork you will now be on FM 2035.
# Lake Sweetwater will be at the top of the next hill. Approximately 4.5 miles from the interstate.

Traveling from El Paso/Odessa:
# Take I-20 east to exit 249.
# Turn right at FM 1856, the first stop sign.
# When the road Ys take the left fork you will now be on FM 2035.
# Lake Sweetwater will be at the top of the next hill. Approximately 4.5 miles from the interstate.


Parking
There is parking at the venue, across the street from the boat ramp, and in the park below the damn.
