Heart and Vascular disease together are the number one cause of death in the United States for both men and women; twice as common as cancer deaths!
The purpose of LIVE ON's CV Strong Run is to educate the public about aortic disease, and other forms of vascular disease, to provide a support network platform for the patients and family members. The main objective of the foundation is to honor those who have lost loved ones from the devastating condition and to develop an endowment to support education and research in the field of aortic disease and management. We hope to engage the community, build relationships with patients and their family members, and to learn from their experience. The goal of the LIVE ON organization is to bring awareness to aortic disease, and to help as medical care providers to make the diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and often loss of a family member more bearable, and to fund research and education related to vascular disease quality of life.
