Chattahoochee High School Soccer Teams are hosting a 5K Race/1 Mile Fun Run in support of the Hooch Soccer Booster Club and STAR House, an after-school tutoring/mentoring/recreation program for at-risk kids. The race will be held at the school in Johns Creek, GA. Check-in at 8:15. 5K Race begins at 9:30; Fun Run at 10:30. Participants will receive T-shirt, goodie bag, race bib, and a chance to win a prize. 5K entry fee is $20.00, or $15.00 for No-Tshirt option. Fun Run entry fee is $15.00, $10.00 No-Tshirt option. Tshirts are guaranteed to those who sign up by March 9, 2013. Registration at www.active.com. Or go to Chattahoochee website and click on 5K information on scroll bar.
Event Start Location Participants will report to the back of the parking lot, towards the football field and alumni pavilion
Course Description Course will consist of the cross country track on the grounds of the school
Awards Award will be given to top 3-place finishers for both Male and Female in the following age groups: 10 $ under; 11-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50 & up.
Packet Pickup / Expo Registration begins at 8:15 on location
Timing / Results Race will be timed. Fun Run will not.
Post Race Activities Members of STAR House will be on hand for face painting and other games for children.
