The Hike for Hospice of Cincinnati and 5K Run are a special set of events giving participants the opportunity to race or hike in memory or in honor of a loved one while helping Hospice of Cincinnati continue its high quality of care for terminally ill patients and their families.
The 2nd annual 5K Run, will be a chip timed race held on a USATF sanctioned route. The 5K course is a scenic, flat, out and back course that starts and finishes at Hospice of Cincinnati. 5K Race categories include Male & Female 14 & under, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 & over. Results will be posted at hospiceofcincinnati.org/hike.
The Hike is a family and pet friendly event. It follows a casual and scenic 2.5 mile route through Blue Ash.
Proceeds from the events help fund programs and services at Hospice of Cincinnati. Consider forming a Hike team with family and friends, at work or church, or with your favorite organization.

Event Start Location
Event will be held at Hospice of Cincinnati, 4360 Cooper Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242. Parking will be at Crane, 4444 Cooper Road. 5KRUN is a USATF sanctioned route. This 5K is chip timed. Race day registration begins at 7:00 am, Race begins at 8:00 am. Hike for Hospice is a family and pet friendly non-competitive, untimed 2.5 mile hike. Hike registration begins at 9:30 am, Hike begins at 10:30 am.

Course Description
The 5K Run is a scenic, flat, out and back course starting and finishing at Hospice of Cincinnati. Map available online.
The Hike course is 2.5 miles and follows the same route as in past years. It is a casual loop through beautiful Blue Ash. Map available online.

Awards
Awards will be given for the following 5K Race categories: Male & Female 14 & under, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70 & over.

Packet Pickup / Expo
Wednesday, October 2 from noon to 7 PM at Hospice of Cincinnati, 4310 Cooper Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242. And Thursday, October 3 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm at Fleet Feet Sports, 9325 Kenwood Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242.

Timing / Results
Results will be posted at www.hospiceofcincinnati.org/hike.

Post Race Activities
Post 5K race activities include awards, breakfast, music & entertainment. Post hike activities include lunch, raffle, music & entertainment.

Weather
Event will take place rain or shine; donning rain slickers or sunglasses!
