You may not recognize the connection to primary colors in our name. But that’s cool. Because all you really need to know about CMY5K is that it’s five kilometers of vibrant ridiculousness that will make your face hurt from perma-smile. Who knew that getting pelted with a different colored powder every kilometer could be so therapeutic? But it is. CMY5K is a game changer.
Now you can participate in a running event where the most competitive aspect is comparing t-shirts post race to see who got the most color.
So round up some friends. Don your plain white tees. And get ready to be baptized in chromatic craziness.
If you’ve done a traditional 5K, you know they can be a bit bland. But CMY5K is the running equivalent of Dorothy’s house landing on the Wicked
Witch. Waves of virginal white runners and walkers will start every 3-5 minutes. Then, at each kilometer, CMY5K staff and volunteers will powder participants in Color Splash Zones. Each zone dispenses a different color; 1K-cyan, 2K-magenta, 3K-yellow, 4K-green, 5K-a combination of all colors

Chondromalacia is a term used to describe damage or softening of the articular cartilage on the underside of the kneecap. It is similar to patellofemoral pain syndrome (runner's knee), which refers to pain under and around the knee cap.
