Come for the race and stay for the fun. Events include a kids home run derby, softball tournament, bands, hay rides, inflatables for the kids, food, beer and much more.
A portion of all proceeds from the event goes to support the future improvements of the park and to support the Watertown Humane Society. Come for the race, stay for the fun.
Half Marathon
SummitFest half marathon is one of the fastest and flattest courses in Wisconsin. The course is USATF certified (pending) and includes a purse of $3,500.

Course
The course has a little of everything. It begins at Genesee Lake Road Park along the tree lined Genesee Lake Road, passes Laura Lake and Golden Lake on rural roads before turning onto a 4 mile stretch on the Glacial Drumlin Trail. You depart the trail in downtown Dousman before heading north on Dousman Road and returning to the park.
This course is FLAT! There is slight elevation change between mile 3 and 5 followed by a descent onto the Glacial Drumlin Trail.

5K
The 5K course is even flatter than the half marathon course. This is an out a back course starting at Genesee Lake Road Park and heading west along tree covered Genesee Lake Road before the turn around at Golden Lake Road.
The 5K course is a closed course!
KIDS ONLY Dirty Dog Mud Run
This is a KIDS ONLY event. Just like the adult version of the Dirty Dog Mud Run, but toned down for the little ones. There is a 1 mile course for the puppies and a 3 mile course for the big kids. Don't worry parents, the course obstacles are all safe and the kids can skip them if they don't want to complete and obstacle. YES there will be plenty of mud so bring a change of clothes.
The KIDS ONLY Dirty Dog Mud Run starts at 10:30 "ish".

30 miles from Milwaukee
45 miles from Madison
From I-94: exit Highway 67 south.
Turn righ (west) on Genesee Lake Road.
Cross Dousman Road and park will be on your left.
Weather / Refund Policy
The event will be held rain, shine, snow or sleet unless severe weather occurs. In the event of severe weather, the race director may delay or cancel the event. If the event is cancelled, there will be NO refunds. Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC has a NO REFUND policy.
