A running start to the famous Rhubarb Festival in Lanesboro, Official Bed & Breakfast Capital of Minnesota -- also the Rhubarb Capital! Register early online and SAVE: https://www.signmeup.com/87662 Or Day-of Registration begins at 8 am at Bass Pond on Cty Rd 8, one block west of downtown. 5k and 1-Mile distances. Runners get the Grand Rhubarb Treatment: accordion serenade, ceremonial fanning with rhubarb leaves, rhubarb elixirs, treats and prizes. Winners take home fresh rhubarb pies! Family-friendly, kid-encouraging fees. Proceeds support the Lanesboro Public Library.

Bass Pond on County Road 8, one block west of downtown Lanesboro, MN.
Course Description
2013 out-&-back course: scenic paved trail passes historic power dam and follows the the twists and turns of the picturesque Root River. Accordion serenades along the way. Fun, funny, spirited run.
Awards
Awards ceremony in Sylvan Park at 10 am is kick-off to Lanesboro's 9th Annual Rhubarb Festival. Winners take home fresh Rhubarb Pies. Fun door prize drawings.
