The Blackhawk Triathlon consists of a swim in an indoor pool facility, a challenging bike course on quiet, policed roads and a new run location for this year's triathlon.
The Youth Triathlon is contained on the school campus and does not include any city streets.
Adult Triathlon - Ages 15 & Up
1/4 mile swim
11 mile bike
3.1 mile run
Youth Triathlon -
Ages 7 & 8
1 length swim
3/4 mile bike
1/4 mile run
Ages 9 & 10
1 lap swim
1 1/4 mile bike
3/4 mile run
Ages 11 & 12

Ages 13 & 14

Prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd, 3rd for each age group in both adult & youth triathlon.
Additional adult triathlon awards: overall male, overall female, local male, local female.

Chondromalacia is a term used to describe damage or softening of the articular cartilage on the underside of the kneecap. It is similar to patellofemoral pain syndrome (runner's knee), which refers to pain under and around the knee cap.
