In 2011 alone, 1,596,670 people were diagnosed with cancer. More than 1,500 people a day die from cancer. The Cancer has Cancer Foundation believes one day soon cancer will be curable.
We are holding the Cure for ONE, Cure for ALL 5K on June 9, 2012 at Bachman Lake in Dallas to help us further our mission: to raise awareness and promote education about all types of cancer and to provide emotional and spiritual support, resources, a place to connect and share with others and financial support, and to raise funds that specifically go to Molecular Cancer Research, which is exploring new cancer innovations.

Bachman Lake, Dallas, TX 75229
Course Description
Length: 3.3 miles
Comfort level: Plenty of water fountains and benches are available, and a restroom facility is on the south side. This trail is paved with a mixture of concrete and asphalt and runs through park land around Bachman Lake. There is an exercise circuit with 16 stations positioned along the trail. As the trail meanders along the northern bank, you may see various specias of geese and ducks, a grove of bald cypress trees, or sculling on the lake. The southern bank of the lake offers a close-up view of airplanes landing at and taking off from Love Field Airport.
