The Run & Walk will begin in the football stadium (on the track). The course takes you to Main Street in downtown Buckley and then on a flat 5K race in Buckley. Part of the course includes the paved Foothills trail. You will also be passing through parts of scenic, residential Buckley with views of Mt. Rainier. The race finishes with approximately ¾ of a lap around the track, finishing in front of the grandstands. A portion of the profits from the race will support the White River High School boys and girls cross-country teams.

Plenty of parking will be available at the schools main parking lot just off of Main St and C St.

Chondromalacia is a term used to describe damage or softening of the articular cartilage on the underside of the kneecap. It is similar to patellofemoral pain syndrome (runner's knee), which refers to pain under and around the knee cap.
