The Tri Fall Creek Falls Triathlon is a popular Olympic distance triathlon put on by the folks at Endurance Sports Management (the organizers of a variety of triathlons and trail run events in the Tennessee and North Carolina area). The triathlon takes place at Tennessee's most popular state park and is centrally located between Knoxville, Nashville and Chattanooga, making it very accessible.

The Banjo awards and bluegrass music are highlights of a wonderful time to be had by all in this quite rural setting.

Event Start Location
Fall Creek Falls State Park, Pikeville, TN
(please allow extra travel time – park is remote & rural but worth the trip!)

Course Description
Come to beautiful Fall Creek Falls State Park for the race for the Banjo & our Bluegrass music weekend.

SWIM - 1500 meters - The swim takes place in a lake - meaning no current, no large swells and warm water. Water temperatures may exceed 78 degrees so the decision on whether wetsuits are allowed takes place race morning.

BIKE - 40 kilometer - The bike is a flat to rolling bike course that is perfect for athletes of all abilities.

RUN - 10 kilometers - The run is one of the highlights of the course, as it takes place on a shaded bike trail through the beautiful woods of the state park. The run features rolling hills--nothing steep.

Awards
Unique miniature banjo awards for top 3 overall M & F, top 3 Masters & Age Group in 5 year categories.
