  The Amica 19.7 Tellico Sprint Triathlon is part of the largest sprint triathlon series in the United States.

The distances of the swim, bike and run total 19.7 miles to commemorate Amica Insurance’s 1907 founding.
The event benefits Young Life of Loudon County and features performance shirts, Amica cowbells, finishers medals and other great packet stuffers.

Registration: Limited to the first 600 entries. The Entry Fee is $60 for entries received by June 13th - Late fee is $80. Entry fee for Relay Teams is $80 before June 13th Late fee $100. Relay Teams should send three forms together.

USA TRIATHLON LICENSE – All participants MUST have an annual or one-day USAT license. Those that do not hold an annual USAT license MUST purchase a $12 single-event license & sign waiver. Annual members must show membership card at packet pickup. Annual USAT license is $39 at www.usatriathlon.org.

Race Packet Pick-Up: Saturday, June 25th, 4:00- 7:30 PM EST- at event site, follow parking signs

Day-of-Race Packet Pick-Up & Registration: Sunday, June 26th, 6:30 a.m. - 7:15 a.m. EST Zorrell comp shirts & water bottles to all competitors.

Event Start Location
TVA Tellico Recreation Area - located at the beginning of Tellico Parkway at Hwy. 321. Race site is just past the Fort Loudon Dam.

Course Description
SWIM distance: .5 mile
The swim takes place in the fresh water of Tellico Lake. Projected water temp is 75-80. Wetsuits are usually allowed (though, per USAT rules, there will be no wetsuits for temperatures higher than 78). Buoys each 100 meters.

BIKE distance: 16.1 miles
Bike Leg: A 16.1 mile course on Tellico Parkway, looping Davis Ferry and Maple Hill Roads. The course is on rolling hills and wide shoulders. No aid stations on the course.

RUN
distance: 3.1 miles
Run Leg: On road and paths around & on Tellico Dam. Almost as flat as a pancake! Aid stations will be placed every mile. See website for map and details.

Awards
Age Groups and Awards: Overall awards for the top three male and female finishers & top male and female masters. Age group awards for first, second, and third place in the following M & F age groups: 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45- 49, 50-55, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over & top 3 Clydesdale & Athena. Open Relay Division: Male, Female, and Co-ed.

Start Time: 7:30 AM Eastern Standard Time - Arrive no later than 6:30 AM

Directions
TVA Tellico Dam Recreation Area: (at start of Tellico Parkway), Lenoir City, TN
Exit I-75 at Lenoir City
Take Rt. 321 South toward Maryville, past Rt. 11 & over Ft. Loudon Dam, exit right after dam to Tellico Parkway, go straight at stop sign to race site.
Race site is approximately 5 miles south of I-75

Parking
Parking is in the large grass fields right next to transiton area.
