Event Start Location
Cedar Ridge Camp in Vernonia. Park at Banks High School and runners will be bussed to the start.
Course Description
Country roads leading to the Banks-Vernonia State Trail (mostly flat, paved, scenic) and ending at Banks High School.
Awards
Plaques to overall male and female open & masters divisions. Ribbons five deep in five year age groups.

Post Race Activities
Hot soup and awards ceremony after the race.
Weather
Generally mid-40's. Showers possible.
Directions
Participants should park at Banks High School (just off Hwy 6) and will be bussed to the start. Half marathoners will be bussed from their finish back to Banks HS.

 Knee Pain - Chondromalacia - Irritation Under The Kneecap
Chondromalacia is a term used to describe damage or softening of the articular cartilage on the underside of the kneecap. It is similar to patellofemoral pain syndrome (runner's knee), which refers to pain under and around the knee cap.

One of the most beautiful courses I have ran so far. Trail is well maintained with plenty of aid stations and bathrooms. The volunteers were wonderful. Very nice event.
