The race begins just outside of the Brush High School football stadium, winds through a well-shaded route in Lyndhurst and South Euclid, and finishes on the high school track in the football stadium. The 10-miler begins at 7:30 am; the 5K at 7:45 am. The course will be open for 2.5 hours.
Proceeds:
Portion of the proceeds goes to the South Euclid-Lyndhurst Schools extra-curricular support fund.

10-miler - Top 3 overall males and females and top 3 in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 & over.
5k - Top 3 overall males and females and top 3 in in the following age groups: 13-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.
10-miler top 3 male/female winners - Vertical Runner gift certificate: 1st: $100, 2nd: $75, 3rd: $50
10 -miler masters winners - Pair of running shoes
Packet Pickup / Expo
Packet pick-up will be available at Brush High School on Friday August 10th and at Vertical Runner (in Hudson, OH) on Saturday August 11th.

Chondromalacia is a term used to describe damage or softening of the articular cartilage on the underside of the kneecap. It is similar to patellofemoral pain syndrome (runner's knee), which refers to pain under and around the knee cap.
