As the largest city in Northern California's wine growing region, the city of Santa Rosa opens up the pathways along Santa Rosa Creek and Prince Memorial Greenway Park for the Santa Rosa Marathon & Half Marathon. Open to both runners and walkers, the race route features sights notable for the area—from the trestle bridges that cross the creek to the glorious farmlands and wine vineyards that dot the landscape, all of which make for a memorable run on a flat, fast course.

Flat and fast! Very scenic. You see city, horse pastures, cornfields, and vineyards all on one course!

Heart & Sole running store on Friday Aug 27th from 10-6pm. Saturday Aug 28th will be at the Hilton hotel in Santa Rosa from 9am-5pm. Wine and food will be served!

 Knee Pain - Chondromalacia - Irritation Under The Kneecap
Chondromalacia is a term used to describe damage or softening of the articular cartilage on the underside of the kneecap. It is similar to patellofemoral pain syndrome (runner's knee), which refers to pain under and around the knee cap.
