A challenging race through beautiful rolling hills in Nevada's oldest and largest state park. Out and back course through the Valley of Fire State Park - rolling hills through beautiful red rock formations.
8 Aid Stations approximately 2 miles apart. (using same stations out and back)The is a difficult out and back course with elevation ranging between 1,640 and 3,040 feet.
The race is in remembrance of Hailey Mayz, an aMayzing little girl who left this life too early. To keep her memory alive the parents started The Hailey Mayz Foundation. The foundation helps families who have children with special needs & are struggling financially.
Please support them in this great cause.

 Knee Pain - Chondromalacia - Irritation Under The Kneecap
Chondromalacia is a term used to describe damage or softening of the articular cartilage on the underside of the kneecap. It is similar to patellofemoral pain syndrome (runner's knee), which refers to pain under and around the knee cap.
