Event Start Location
The ride begins and ends at Montour Trail mile 0 located at Rt 51 and Montour Road, just off of I-79 and the Coraopolis Bridge that connects to Neville Island.

Course Description
The Montour Trail is a planned 60 mile multi-use non-motorized recreational rail-trail system near Pittsburgh, PA. It will ultimately have 46 continuous miles from Coraopolis to Clairton. Multiple sections of the trail system totaling 47 miles are completed, and new sections are added each year.

The trail is paved with a smooth surface of crushed limestone, which makes it ideal for all forms of non-motorized use: bicycling, walking, running, cross-country skiing, and nature appreciation. In certain sections, horseback riding is also permitted, but not on the improved trail surface.

A portion of the trail within Peters Township is called The Arrowhead Trail. It is owned and maintained by the Township.

Packet Pickup / Expo
Packet Pickup will be held Thursday, September 20st at the Settlers Ridge REI Store from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. You can also pick up your ride packet at registration on the morning of the event.

Post Race Activities
A delicious post race lunch will be provided.

We're expecting lots of sunshine !

From the South, take the Coraopolis/McKees Rocks exit (Exit 64) from I-79 north. At the end of the off ramp turn left on to Route 51 north; travel about 0.3 miles. Immediately after crossing the bridge look for parking volunteers.

From the North, take I-79 South to the Neville Island exit (Exit 65). At the end of the off ramp turn left, which will put you on Grand Avenue headed west. This will take you across the bridge into Coraopolis, where you will be forced to turn right on to 4th Ave. Take the next two lefts to 5th Ave / Route 51 south. Travel 3/4 of a mile and look for parking volunteers.

Parking areas will be made around Mile 0 for the event.
