Garrett County and the Deep Creek Lake area boast some of the finest and most challenging cycling in the mid-Atlantic region and provides twice the satisfaction in serving as a fundraiser for the Joanna M. Nicolay Melanoma Foundation.

The Gran Fondo offers four supported ride options on Saturday June 25. The 125 mile "Diabolical Double Metric", the 102 mile "Savage Century", and the 62 mile "Masochistic Metric" all contain very steep and challenging hills and are not for the feint of heart or beginner cyclist. Average Rating:
Recent Review: Support staff did a great job cleaning the course after the storm. Coke at rest stops was a blessing. Hammer electrolyte tables really helped. Pre-event meal very nice. The whole event beginning to end was first class. Loved the steel drum band.
