The Bridgewater office of the American Diabetes Association needs your help in changing the future of diabetes. We will have our annual cycling event, Tour de CureŽ, in Brielle, NJ on Saturday, June 19. Each year, our community joins over 40,000 other cyclists and volunteers participating at more than 80 sites across the United States to help raise funds to stop this devastating disease.
Take the ride of your life at the Jersey Shore Tour de Cure on June 19, 2010 and be a part of fundraising efforts that will help the nearly 24 million Americans suffering from diabetes.
While an estimated 17.9 million have been diagnosed, 5.7 million people are still unaware that they have the disease. If present trends continue, one in every three Americans and one in every two minorities, will face a future with diabetes.
