The Tour de Tolerance was founded in 2006 by Walter Chayes, a past-president of the El Paso Holocaust Museum and Study Center, as a way to raise funds for the Museum, a nonprofit entity. Originally created as a bike ride for both advanced and novice riders, this year’s event has expanded to include a 5k competitive run and 1-mile fun walk.

Cyclists will have an opportunity to ride through some of the city’s most scenic routes. This year’s 100K ride will also be more challenging and will be a true test to the skill and determination of advanced cyclists from El Paso and the surrounding areas.

All races start and finish at Stout Gym on Fort. Bliss, 2930 Cassidy Rd., Fort. Bliss TX 79916.
Participants need to enter Fort. Bliss via the Remagen Gate located at Airport Road & Butterfield Trail. Parking will be available adjacent to Stout Gym.

100K Course – starts at Stout gym, traverses TransMountain Road to the west side of the Franklins. Returns via Anthony Gap and back to Fort. Bliss.
50K Course – also starts at Stout gym. Follows a mostly flat route to the edge of Texas and back.
10K Course – a flat ride completely on Fort. Bliss.
Hydration Stations every 15 miles for the 100K and 50K rides.

Still using GU, PowerGel or Clif SHOT?
See why athletes are making the switch to e-Gel, the only Electrolyte Energy Gel. Get 230 mg Sodium, 85 mg Potassium and more complex carbs than any other gel.
