Transition Multisports, LLC
Established September, 2009
Transition Multisports was established to serve the community by providing education and training for a healthy lifestyle through the sport of triathlon. Virginia has the sixth highest volume of registered triathletes in the United States, with a decent amount in Harrisonburg. At Transition, we believe healthy lifestyles are a family activity and can just as easily start with the kids as with the adults. As a result, Transition Multisports trains youth athletes as well as adults of all levels and experiences. Because of the unique aspect of training youth athletes, triathlon is not the sole focus of training sessions, but rather the whole individual. Skills learned in Tri Club are readily applied to other sports and to everyday life. Balance, agility, core strength, awareness, teamwork, confidence, and basic nutrition fundamentals are essentials to nearly every other activity the Club kids participate in. Building the person is the goal and triathlon is a fun activity along the way.
