The New Runners in Training Women's Group was created for women in the Northern NJ area who are seeking to join a "true" beginner's running group.
The mission of this running group is to provide women who are new to running, or have a desire to start running, the opportunity to meetup on a weekly basis with other women of similiar fitness levels and goals to train to run together as they encourage and motivate each other to achieve their respective goals.
The group uses the Couch to 5K (C25K) Running Plan to transition from walking and jogging to running! The group meetup at various parks in Bergen County a minimum of 2x weekly to train... at least 1 weekday and 1 weekend (Sunday).
If your goal is to train to run a 5K, 10K, etc..or simply just to run for 10mins, 20mins, 30mins, etc... I encourage you to join the New Runners in Training Women's Group.
