San Diego Striders is a Running Club established by the San Diego Running Institute and the Mission Valley YMCA in 2004. The San Diego Striders is a Run Club designed for all levels of runners. Lead Coach Lee Ann Yarbor is a USATF Level 1 certified coach and has completed over 40 races with 11 marathons including Boston. The Striders train for numerous races in and out of the San Diego area including Rock and Roll, La Jolla Half Marathon, AFC, Carlsbad Half and Full Marathon, the Boston Marathon and many more...
The Striders offer 3 coached runs per week. Long runs on Saturday mornings are various locations throughout coastal San Diego, track workouts on Mondays and Tempo runs on Wednesdays. The San Diego Striders provide complete training program for the new runners as well as an advanced program for the seasoned runner.
