EBVC was originally established in 1992 as a top-level amateur racing team based in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area.Re-formed in 2003, EBVC includes some of those original founding members as well as new faces, nearly all of whom live and ride in the East Bay area.
Many EBVC riders are competitive cyclists who raced at top amateur events, nationally and internationally, during the 1980s and 1990s, and have recently returned to cycling. Others are relative newcomers to the sport. Our members include former professionals and Olympians, as well as those who have never raced before.
From 2003 through the present, EBVC has participated in numerous USCF and NCNCA Elite and Masters amateur races, including 13 victories and numerous other top-10 placings. See R
